Marble Painting for Earth Day

Today we did a super fun and easy craft and created Earth Day marble paintings!  Each kid got a big white circle on a tray (you could also use a large shoebox). We put some dabs of blue and green finger paint on the circle and put a few marbles on each tray. I started out with 3 each, but we decided to add more later to help spread the paint a little better.

Then the kids held the tray by the sides and moved it all around so the marbles would roll through the paint.

Here are our Earth Day marble paintings! Aren’t they cute? We put them on a paper towel to dry and we will glue them to black paper later and hang them on the wall to display!
