Mrs. Thompson’s Treasures is a website for elementary school teachers and parents to find inspiration and resources to use with their kids. I love creating fun and engaging materials that help all students feel successful!
About Me: I am a former 3rd grade teacher turned homeschooling momma! After 3 years of teaching in the public schools in Texas, my husband and I moved overseas in 2007. While there, I continued working with kids through camps and teaching English. We had our first three babies and began our homeschooling adventure!
We moved back to Texas in 2012 for a few years, then in the fall of 2015 we moved overseas again and are continuing our home school journey! This year our 3 oldest kids are in 3rd, 1st, and Pre-K. We also have a 3 year old and a newborn who help keep life and home school interesting. 🙂
I have visited many places in the world including Jordan, Egypt, Israel, Iraq, Morocco, Dubai, India, Australia, and New Zealand. There are treasures to be found from each culture and place around the world, and I love to find them!
