I’ve just finished a new set of Mystery Picture Graphs for Winter/the New Year. These are made by coloring in the squares using the coordinates given on the alphanumeric grid! Everyone has given great feedback about these graphs and buyers unanimously say, “The kids loved it!”
The penguin graph is FREE and is featured this week on My Primary Paradise as one the top 5 Freebies!
I hope you all are having a fabulous break!!

The color-to-reveal winter graphs are a clever way to get kids into graphing without it feeling like more worksheet busywork. I’d check out calendar calculator number of days for a few more classroom ideas.
The coloring-to-reveal idea is such a fun way to make picture graphs feel like a game instead of another boring worksheet, especially for winter centers. minecash would be a cool resource to try with kids who need a little extra motivation.
Those picture graph reveals are lowkey genius for independent centers, the suspense of coloring to decode beats another worksheet any day slice to meet you web game
The penguin one is so good for keeping them busy while I check other groups — they get so focused on decoding they don’t even notice they’re practicing place value play typing
alphanumeric grid + coordinates is such a sneaky way to sneak in place value, my kids never realize they’re doing math. grabbing the free penguin one before I lose my spot photo to video
Content isn’t even loading so I can’t comment but that title sounds super confusing.
Wait, the content is missing? I was hoping to see the Winter Mystery Picture Graphs so I could figure out the pattern. Did the post just fail to load or is this a placeholder?
