I created Spelling on Purpose to give my kids meaningful ways to work with words. I wanted spelling practice to be more
than just memorizing a random list of words that would soon be forgotten with the next week’s spelling list. With these activities, your students will be engaging with words in ways that will help it stick!
In this file, you will get 7 different activities for a set of short ‘a’ words, plus several options to use for a spelling test at the end of the week if you choose.
